Onsite Challenges

Your TAS: World Challenge Passport should be in your Welcome Packet, if not feel free to stop by the front booth to pick up another. Complete just 5 of the challenges below by posting on our Facebook Wall or Tweet us using #TASWorldChallenge! Have a great time at the show!

  1. Choose any augmented reality experience at the SeaWorld Antartica Exhibit – Booth 137
  2. Take a pic with your Ethiopian Airlines Bag – Booth 501
  3. Visit GoGo and spin to win – Booth 329
  4. Take a pic sampling the “Taste” of Maine – Booth 901
  5. Get geared up for a day at the beach in Currituck Outer Banks! – Booth 314
  6. Find out what Vegemite is at Qantas Vacations – Booth 410
  7. Take a picture with any exhibitor dressed in native clothing or costume – Booth ANY
  8. Take a photo of your favorite U.S. destination booth - Booth ANY
  9. Take a photo of your favorite international destination booth - Booth ANY
  10. Sit in one one of the amazing speakers and snap a photo or video of your favorite
  11. Snap a photo or video of your favorite Global Beats Stage performance
  12. Take a photo in Scuba gear. Feeling risky? Hop in the water and take a lesson. - Booth Scuba Pool

Online Challenges

Online challenges are performed by those who cannot attend the show – but still want to get in on the action!  The challenges involve going online to find the answers and sharing them one of two ways: Posting them to our Facebook Wall or Tweeting us using #TASWorldChallenge!

  1. Check out Rick Steve’s site, find a tour that interests you and post one of the photos from the slideshow!
  2. Visit Budge Travel, look at one of their many “12 most” “10 best” type lists and post your favorite photo of where you most want to visit!
  3. Visit Washington Examiner online and post an interesting fact about something happening in Washington DC!
  4. Go to the Ethiopian Airline’s page and pick the photo that catches your eye from their photo gallery
  5. Head over to the Antartica section of SeaWorld online and pick your favorite penguin! Share their picture and name with us.

What is this?

The Travel & Adventure Show is kicking off 2013 with an all new interactive game to get you thinking about and experiencing destinations throughout the world in a whole new way! The TAS: World Challenge runs now through March 11, 2013, and gives you access to a ton of travel-related deals and giveaways. Participating is easy – simply follow us on Facebook or Twitter to answer trivia questions and win numerous prizes, AND join us at any one of four expos throughout January, February and March to complete interactive challenges on the show floor and enter for even more chances to win!
